TekMast is built around special designed and machined tube sections. These sections plug into each other and are finally rotationally locked by a wing nut on the field base plate. The extension gear consists of a mast guide unit on three folding legs which are fitted with large feet for soft ground. Tube sections are introduced into the mast guide unit from underneath and lifted by a hand cranked winch fitted with automatic brake.
The VMS-M family offers an ample line of special accessories and adapters to facilitate the mounting and elevation of different types of antenna and other radiating elements, cameras, microwave link dishes. An electrical Winch Drive is also optionally available.
The VMS-M mast system comes complete with 3 carrying cases, installation hardware, guy rope and special mechanical accessories to make the deployment of the mast both an effective and safe process. It’s unique tensioning system allows for quick and reliable installation on the field.
